Dr. Steven Smith
Dr. Steven Smith was born and raised in Iowa. He attended Northern Arizona University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1992. Dr. Smith then served seven years in the Air Force Dental Corps after dental school including a one year General Dentistry Residency where he received post-doctoral training from specialists in every dental field. He continues to attend numerous post-graduate programs in cosmetic, implant and general dentistry to keep up with the latest in dentistry. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona State Dental Association, Southern Arizona Dental Society, Christian Medical and Dental Associations and is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Smith is married to Nancy Smith, who is a Tucson native. He has four children, Brennan, Mali, Eric, and Kyle. In his free time, Dr. Smith enjoys reading, exercising, playing in the great outdoors and traveling to see his children!
Nancy
Nancy was born and raised in Tucson. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. Nancy’s favorite part of working in the dental field is getting to know people from all walks of life and building relationships with them while supporting their oral and overall health. It was at NAU that Nancy met and later married Dr. Smith; their children Brennan, Mali, Eric and Kyle are scattered across the country and they enjoy traveling to see them any chance they get! Nancy also enjoys participating in Bible Studies, exercise classes, hiking and outdoor adventures and U of A Football games!!!
Linda
Linda is a native Tucsonan and has been in the dental field as an assistant and hygienist for 40 years! She graduated from Salpointe High School and Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a member of the State and National Dental Hygiene Association to help keep up with the latest in dental hygiene. Linda enjoys spending her time with her family and friends!
Jenny
Jenny has lived in Tucson for over 20 years. She graduated from dental hygiene school in 2008. Jenny’s favorite part of dentistry is creating lasting relationships with her patients and getting to know people, not just their teeth. In her free time Jenny enjoys spending time with her husband, they love to volunteer at a local animal rescue. Jenny enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Bernadette
Bernadette is the friendly voice you will first hear when you call our office. She is our office coordinator who has also been known to help with patient care in the back office. She has been in the dental field since 1999 while living in Flagstaff. She has been with our office since 2003; she started first as a dental assistant and then moved to office coordinator in 2008. She is originally from Colorado but moved to Tucson in 3rd grade and graduated from Flowing Wells High School where she participated in basketball, volleyball and the cheerleading squad. She is married to her husband Matt and enjoys spending time with her daughter BreeAnna and son Tre.
Cristina
Cristina is our cheerful and humorous dental assistant who will help make your dental visits a pleasant experience. She was born and raised in Nogales, Mexico and then moved to Tucson in 2000. Since graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at Apollo College in 2007, she has enjoyed continued learning opportunities in the field and providing her expertise and a caring attitude to our patients. Cristina loves cooking and spending time with her husband, son and daughter.
